Visual ideation

Mandate

Erod was mandated by Domaine Lafrance to design the visual identity for its new summer recipe, a golden sangria designed to shine under the summer sun. This unique product, a white sangria in a 750 ml bottle(7% alc./vol.), was created from Quebec ice cider, combining freshness, finesse, and boldness. Designed with a female clientele in mind, the product needed a label as vibrant as its taste. The goal: to create a distinctive and original label that reflects the product’s richness while staying true to Domaine Lafrance’s brand universe.

Think

Before starting the creative process, our team conducted an in-depth analysis of Domaine Lafrance's DNA and let the product's promise guide us. We needed to capture the essence of this sunny drink and visually convey its summery, luminous character, synonymous with relaxation and escape.

The challenge was to capture the essence of this sunlit drink and visually express its summer character, bright, relaxing, and evocative of escape.

Inspired by golden sunsets, clinking glasses on a terrace, and those timeless moments of a perfect vacation, we created an identity that celebrates the elegance and freshness of ice cider while highlighting the product’s Quebec roots and Mediterranean inspiration.





Create

The La Dorada label was designed to embody both the freshness of a summer afternoon and the sophistication of a well-crafted cocktail. The design is based on a luminous golden palette, punctuated with sunny motifs and warm accents.

Each graphic element—from textures to typography—was carefully selected to convey a sense of warmth and elegance. The name “La Dorada,” which means “golden” in Spanish, perfectly captures the collective imagination of the golden hour,  as well as hinting to its Mediterranean origins.


Display

To ensure visual consistency and instant recognition, we designed a label that fits perfectly into the Domaine Lafrance universe. The result: a label that catches the eye like a ray of sunshine. La Dorada stands out on store shelves, immediately capturing the consumer's attention.

To extend the experience, we also envisioned a complete visual universe adaptable to all marketing media, which can accompany the product well beyond the bottle, reinforcing its appeal and seductive power.
