The Cochonnailles sausage brand, produced by Plaisirs Gastronomiques, partnered with Erod creative agency to refresh its packaging design. The goal was to give the brand a more dynamic, eye-catching look while standing out in a competitive environment. Our approach: strengthen Cochonnailles’ presence in grocery stores, modernize its visual style, and preserve its DNA.

Think

A brand image that was difficult to adapt and visually discreet in a competitive environment was hindering Cochonnailles' ability to stand out in grocery stores. It became essential to rethink its identity to make it more flexible, impactful, and relevant. Erod therefore initiated a strategic approach aimed at promoting a more contemporary, distinctive, and consistent visual language that respects the brand's heritage and customer loyalty.

With the intention of preserving the brand's central element, the iconic pig, Erod undertook a complete overhaul of Cochonnailles' image. By modernizing this key symbol, the team brought a fresh new energy to the visual identity without breaking with the brand's established recognition among consumers. The result: a renewed brand with a stronger, more contemporary and dynamic presence that retains its core values.


Display

The approach focused on structuring the label’s information, giving the brand more space, and boosting its visibility on shelves. A refreshed colour palette now allows the brand to stand out more clearly in its competitive environment, while facilitating future variations. The result: a refreshed, modern, and dynamic graphic identity that preserves the brand’s roots while asserting its uniqueness.
